I am extremely proud and incredibly excited to introduce our
6th Form to you.

Our decision to open the 6th Form is a clear expression of how we've built
on our achievements at St Thomas the Apostle College and furthered the
outstanding educational opportunities available for our students. Our mixed,
multi-faith and diverse 6th Form Centre is a place where futures will be
formed.

We are taking a traditional style and approach to our post-16 offering, we
expect the vast majority of our 6th Form students will follow A Levels and
then go on to some of the best Universities to complete degree courses.
I fully expect that amongst our founding year groups will be future graduates
from Oxbridge and Russell Group Universities.

Alongside our traditional curriculum we are taking a modern and forward-
looking approach to our teaching. Our state of the art facilities, integrated
use of technology and our unfaltering high expectations are unique features
of our 6th Form Centre which have been carefully thought out to engage
and stimulate all learners whilst opening opportunities which will certainly
shape their drive and ambition for their future.

I have every confidence that our 6th Form will prove to be as successful as
the main school and the unique ethos maintained.

I am sure you will be impressed by the atmosphere of the 6th Form; the
working environment, the sense of enjoyment in the learning process and
the strong focus on achievement. We warmly invite you to join us.
